Modal conceptualizes and executes sensory experiences by integrating design with technology. We look at an empty room and envision the story it can tell. Our approach to design comes from a fresh perspective and a theatrical background.
We're always looking ahead. Whether its foreign technology, innovative software, or new partners. We're excited about the unknown.
We take pride in our communication skills. We love what we do and like to enjoy the human element of creating lasting partnerships.
Teamwork is number one at Modal; we don't get things done working alone. Communication with our partners is vital to our success.
We don't stop at the finish line. It's not just about completing the project, but to do so with as much excellence and quality as possible.

John has been working professionally in production since he was a teenager. He moved to New York in 2007 from St Petersburg FL and has been in love ever since. His attention to detail & affable personality helps make projects as successful & smooth as possible.
Before co-founding Modal, John started in the business of theater. He has freelanced for nearly his entire life working on projects ranging from broadway theater, corporate galas & award shows, to massive experiential build outs in unconventional spaces. This helped him gain a deep understanding of storytelling and how a narrative can be told using light, sound, and visuals. John studied Theater design at SUNY Purchase and graduated with a BFA.
John lives in Brooklyn, NY. In his free-time he loves finding new & unique music, checking out local art, and DIY home improvement. Other times he is busy getting schooled playing basketball in the neighborhood.
