To showcase their flagship phone’s camera, Google collaborated with Refinery29 to transform a portion of the High Line into a moving meadow of disks upon which Pixel content was projected. In addition to delivering lighting design that mimicked the color scheme of projected content, Modal was asked to design and install a trussing system that would hold lighting and projectors overhead, that worked within the High Line’s rigid engineering guidelines.

Modal craned in the rig and the lights onto the High Line in just 30 minutes.
